Who is this for?

Beginner and experienced models with the drive and passion to take their careers to new levels. There are no restrictions nor age limit to the models who wish to apply. If you are under 18 years of age your parent or guardian will be required to sign a consent form.

What is included in the admission fee?

Tickets are priced on a per season basis to accommodate each season’s unique production. Your investment allows you access to all days of the workshop and covers the following:

• 8+ years of industry knowledge and expertise that will be shared in-depth with attendees.

• 2 hour pose training class.

• 2 hour runway training class.

• A seperate day, outside of the workshop, for fresh digitals to be taken. Each attendee will receive 7 images from this as well as newly created comp cards. This is scheduled ahead of the workshop with all models.

• A full, one-on-one editorial photoshoot. Each attendee will receive a full gallery with the images from their shoot within two weeks of the workshop.

• Full wardrobe curation and styling. There will be a seperate day, outside of the workshop, for wardrobe fittings. This wardrobe styling will cover the editorial photoshoot as well as the video production. This is scheduled ahead of the workshop with all models.

• Full scale fashion video production. All attendees will be able to use this video for portfolio and promotion purposes. (Tenative per season.)

Regular market pricing breakdown as follows:

• 8 hour educational teaching, $850

• Pose training class, $350

• Runway training class, $350

• Digitals, $250

• Full editorial photoshoot, $825

• Styling + fitting for an editorial photoshoot and video production, $1,500

• Fashion video campaign, $5,000

Total market value of: $9,125 per person.

What deliverables do the models receive?

Each model will receive the following after the workshop:

• 7 freshly taken digitals

• A minimum of 10 images from their editorial photoshoot

• The fashion video campaign (Tenative per season.)

How can I prepare to apply?

Once applications open, you will need to have a headshot to submit as well as your measurements. Please take this headshot in good lighting from a straight-on angle with little to no makeup and no filters. Your measurements should include: height, bust, waist, hips and shoe size. If you have a portfolio to provide, please prepare this. Portfolios are not required but will help elevate your application.

We are looking for people who have potential for success in the fashion industry as well as those with clear drive, motivation and determination. We will be looking for unique looks, strong portfolios and personalities that fit within the season campaign.

What opportunities can models, that attend MDW, expect to receive?

Attending the workshop will transform and elevate any attendees portfolio, skill set and confidence within the industry. This workshop allows for multi-day networking for attendees to establish one-on-one connections with photographers, videographers and creative professionals. Our custom built sets and full-scale production will give attendees years of industry experience in just days, providing them with the highest level of portfolio material that takes some models 5-7 years to book.

All MDW alumni also have access to free, quartley digital days, private access to an MDW community page and long-term mentorship from the co-founders Ami and Irelynd.
